the 50$ knife shop is a great book . it removes a lot of the B.S. about knife making. there are 4 book that you must have to start knifemaking: goddards 50$ knife shop,, step by step knife making by david boye, coustom knifemaking by tim mcCreigh and the complete bladesmith by jim Hrisoual. there are hundreads of other books out there each one has some thing in it that will help you. but the 4 that i named are i think the best how to get started books on the subject. gary miller
