On the DL, but healing

I discovered that if you are going to fly, you really need to stick the landing. I failed to do that about a month ago and broke my collar bone (and did a few other minor things, including a concussion, but the collar bone has me out of the shop for the moment). I start rehab this week and hope to be working again soon.

There are a few things for sale on the website, www.5elementsforge.com.

The other news is that I've decided to go for my MS, so as soon as I'm back in the shop, that is what I'll be working on. There may be time for commission pieces, and there will probably be a few pieces that leave the bench that won't be for the MS, but those pieces are going to be my main focus for now. Stay tuned.

Your style sure shows through on your knives, Geoff. Great pictures and beautiful knife patterns. Keep up the super work.

How did you break your collar bone? I did that when I was a kid and it hurt like hell! Of course, the fact that I was (still am) the biggest weinie when it came/comes to pain didn't help any.

So you'll be going for Master Smith, huh? My hat's off to ya'--and best of luck with it.

Hey, Geoff, glad to see you're on Knife Showcase. Did you go to Josh's Hammer-In this time? I couldn't make it. I heard it was pretty interesting--especially the part about Josh shooting the bowling ball out of the cannon straight up near his house. I hear Jodie was pretty upset while they all waited for the bowling ball to land. ;)
