it's probably gonna be a few months before I can start making knives again.  Right now I'm in Colorado helping my son with the details on buying a house.  When I get back home, I have a court battle over visitation rights to my grandchildren.  Then, I've got to get my shop cleaned up and operational again.  So, it might be a while.  Thanks for asking

I have a solution for the idiots who walk where I'm fishing.  I figure if he's an a******, I can be too.  So, I cast right across his ear and set the hook as hard as possible.  Then I say, "Oops! I didn't notice that you were walking where I was fishing!!  Can I help you get that hook out??"

retired computer systems engineer.  part-time knife maker since 2000.  - 6-10 knives in a good year, but, haven't been active for about 2 years.  been flyfishing all my life - my dad was into it for a bit when I was a kid.  I've actively flyfished since '75.  I think the movie A River Runs Through It ruined it for me.  now there's too many fishermen on the rivers.  it hard to find the peace and solitude I used to have when  I was the only guy on the river.  Maybe that's why I like knife making.  the peace and solitude.

thanks for the comment.  due to some personal events in my life, I have not been able to participate in  Blade Forums for about 2 years.  Just getting back into the swing of things and see that a lot has changed.  I think the last time I was posted in Blade Magazine what the July 2010 issue - knifemakers showcase.  I'm near Dallas.  Where are you.
