OK all you exhibitors--table and booth holders--here's your chance to share the knives you will be bringing to exhibit at the BLADE Show June 10-12 in the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.

We want pictures, descriptions, materials used, the name of the knife, your list prices, etc., etc. The main thing is to show the knife but feel free to include anything and everything pertaining to the knife: not only a good closeup pic of the knife itself but also pics of it being made, tested, etc.

Oh, and be sure to include your table and booth number so our readers can look for you in Atlanta.

Hi, ST. What's the steel and what's the Rockwell?

You're welcome. I think it's gonna be a good one. They usually are, of course, but i think this one will kick butt more than usual. Why, I'm not sure. Just call it a gut feeling. And i have an ample gut!

Steve, I'm sorry about the delay here.

I really have no idea what kind of walnut that is.

It truly was a piece of firewood when I salvaged it. I cleaned it up, hung it in my shop for two years, then sent it off and had it stabilized.

I'd love to show it to you in Atlanta.

I want to talk to you anyway.

Steve,

This knife is made out of 1095 steel Rc 57. We hope you can stop by and check out some of our other models as well. We have made several of our tanto bowie variants and will be entering one to be judged. It of course is not a regulare production piece. A true one of a kind!

I have several knives to deliver, since most of my work is custom. Here are a few photos. the first knife features a portrait of Mel Pardue, and the Corbit folder is scrimshawed with walrus. Both in progress and finished.

I do have a new item that will be for sale. It's an antique cue ball that I just finished the scrimshaw work on. The base isn't done yet, but will be by show time! ( antiqued leaves mounted on walnut.) The photos show it on pine.
