well i have i made that one 40 years and 300 knives ago. but your right those are some of the most intersting knives out there. thanks for the kind words.

I believed that my first knife was made out of a file until recently when I visited my mother, she returned to me a knife that I made in Jr. High School out of a broken hacksaw blade. My grinder was the sidewalk. I cut the basic knife shape wiith a pair of metal shears. The handle material was cut out of a piece 1 by 2 painted black. A humble begining.
