Polishing S30V

I have just tried S30V for the first time and I have found that it is not polishing out very well. I like a mirror polish on my blades and was wondering if there is a compound other than the 1200 AO that I'm using that would cut the steel a little quicker.

first make sure your final grind is 600 grit or more,then go to crocus,then go to red or green,between steps ,wash,then go to white
