My EDC's
New to the forum. This is my current EDC's
have several more Kershaws, SOG's and a few none tactical knifes such
as Case trappers, Boker Trappers and Bear and Son's skinners.

Yep, quality and function is the key. Spend the money and get the right tool(s) for you. My late father said to me often over the years, "a cheap dull knife is like an unloaded gun, what happens if you have to use it?"
I still have my fathers case sod buster and my high school days old timer. But my Navy days schooled me on what makes a good knife and how to chose one for the job at hand.
I still have several Case trappers, Boker hunting and a few other fixed blade and folding knives. But without a doubt so far for me it's the Chris Reeve folders.
