Art Knives

All knives are art in a sense, but those known as Art Knives exhibit artistic forms, or some type of embellishment, which may include engraving, scrimshaw, precious- or non-precious-stone inlay, other exotic natural handle inlays, carving, sculpting, wire inlay, etching or a myriad of other inlays, overlays and underlays. Damascus and mosaic damascus blades, bolsters, handles and parts often elevate a fixed blade or folder to that of “Art Knife.”
